Juma Lodge's Location
The Amazon Rainforest is cut by the Equator Line and spreads across a vast area of Brazil's northern region. The state of Amazonas, the country´s largest, houses the forest and its main rivers. The Amazon River emerges where two other rivers meet - Solimões and Negro - and the capital of the state, the city of Manaus, is located at the banks of Negro River, a few miles from there.
Juma Lodge is located 100 km (62 miles) southeast of Manaus.
